Ny væghøjttaler fra JBL der er 'til det hele'. Med JBL´s patenteret halvkugleformet Soundfield Technology opnås en meget bred dækning af lytte rummet. Denne løsning fjerner ligeledes de primære væg refleksioner der har tendens til at forsage inkonsekvent lyd når højttaleren er monteret på væg. Det halvkugleformet lydfelt dækker fra væg til væg, så en enkelt højttaler kan levere high-fidelity fuldtone lyd til et stort lytteområde. Dette kan reducere antallet af højttalere der er nødvendige for at dække et rum og derved sænke de samlede omkostninger for et lydsystem. JBL HST er med indbygget trafo, så den kan drives i både lav ohm og 70/100V. Højttaleren fås i både sort og hvid og der medfølger U beslag i kassen. The Control HST utilizes JBL’s patent-pending Hemispherical Soundfield Technology™ to achieve extremely wide coverage of the listening space along with eliminating the primary wall reflection that tends to cause inconsistent sound when speakers are attached to a wall. The wide hemispherical soundfield covers from wall to wall, allowing a single speaker to provide high-fidelity full-range sound to a large listening area. This can reduce the number of speakers needed for covering a space, lowering the overall cost for a sound system. The system is capable of handling 100 Watts, and is equipped with a 60W 70V/100V multitap transformer. Connection is made via a 4-pin phoenix-type removable locking connector which also includes loop-thru terminals for connecting in parallel to another speaker.
